Beckington is close to local restaurants and boutique stores in Leland and Historic Downtown Wilmington including Leland's Waterford Shopping Center and Wilmington's Cargo District. World class golf courses and pickleball facilities are minutes away along with the breathtaking views of beaches like Oak Island, Southport, and Wrightsville. Need a getaway? Myrtle Beach is a short 45 minute drive away.

Our residents with children can attend Brunswick County Public Schools including Lincoln Elementary, Leland Middle, and North Brunswick High. Leland Middle and North Brunswick High are just a mile down the road from the community.

Our favorite local bike trail is at Brunswick Nature Park. This trail is a easy to moderate 5.5 mile loop trail that features scenic river views and is good for all skill levels. The Nature Park is accessible year-round and dogs are welcomed on the trail with a leash.

We love supporting local businesses and Port City Java is one of our favorites! Just 5 miles from the neighborhood, Port City Java offers some of the best hand crafted beverages. Not sure what to try? Start with their signature Iced Black and Tan Mocha.

From US 74-E/76-E (Andrew Jackson Highway): Take the Leland Exit (Just pass Northwest District Park). Turn Right off the exit onto Lanvale Road. Drive 0.9 miles and at the traffic light, turn left onto Old Fayetteville Road. Drive 0.3 miles and your new home at Beckington will be on left.
